German International School Sydney

This form must be filled out by a parent or legal guardian. One form must be filled out for each child leaving GISS. This form serves as an official withdrawal notice as required under the School's Terms and Conditions.

This form does not need to be filled out for students graduating from GISS.

Under the Education Act 1990 (NSW), Section 24, the School is required to obtain and store details of a student’s destination when leaving the School if the student’s age falls within the mandatory schooling age.

Please note that the School is required to notify the Department of Education and Training if this form is not returned within 7 days from departing the school.

Adequate Notice

A full term’s notice in writing (or by submitting this form) must be given to the Principal before any student may withdraw from the School. The notice must be given on or before the end of the preceding term. If adequate notice is not given, the family agrees to pay a term’s fee plus GST.
